Taskmatics has been a real breath of fresh air for Climb – we were stuck fiddling around and trying to coordinate all of our jobs with Windows Scheduled Tasks, and were constantly running into problems trying to keep track of too many things in too many different places. Taskmatics has simplified everything – all of my jobs are in a single consolidated list, running them is push-button, scheduling is easy, and historical tracking is a breeze. Tracking the progress of the job in real-time is also a fantastic feature! Highly recommended.
Prior to Taskmatics Scheduler all of our batch based operations were one off executables managed in Windows Task Scheduler. The entire environment was inconsistent and costly to maintain. Now all of our jobs are unified, with common logging and a single administration console. Great Product!!
Great tool! I’ve found Taskmatics to be quite an improvement over our current homegrown job system that we have had in place for quite a long time. We were able to modify our existing custom jobs so that they will be compatible with Taskmatics with fairly minimal effort. Installing the API via nuget was a big win as well since that is how we typically maintain our packages so it made the integration steps streamlined. Also. being able to view the running output of a job while it’s running is nice too especially when you are doing diagnostics on a given job. And then being able to quickly look over the trend of a given job and see how many failures it has had in a quick graphical way is very nice to have.
